From Times Staff Reports
A small automotive upholstery shop was destroyed early Wednesday by a fire inside the business, authorities said.
Damage topped $300,000 at Unida Custom Auto Upholstery, in the 2400 block of Tapo Street, said Joe Luna, a Ventura County Fire Department spokesman.
More than two dozen firefighters responded to the blaze, which was reported at 2:40 a.m. There were no injuries, and Luna said investigators were trying to determine a cause.
