Gasoline Pricing
Recently I filled up my tank for $1.16 a gallon. A few short months ago the price was over $2 a gallon and various media outlets aired speculation of oil company collusion. In view of current prices, my question is, do oil companies only have the ability to fix prices at certain times of the year or are they mysteriously overcome with fits of altruism on a randomly periodic basis?
