3 Teens Held in Attack on Gay Student
Three 15-year-old Santa Rosa high school sophomores were arrested on suspicion of attacking a fellow student because he is gay.
The apparent leader of the assault allegedly paid his two friends $10 each to beat up the 17-year-old victim.
Sgt. Tom Combs said the victim, a senior, was not seriously injured in the attack Friday.
All four youths attend Maria Carrillo High School.
