Pop Music

Recent ripples in the Stereolab pond include the departure of keyboardist Morgane Lhote, but with Londoner Tim Gane and French-born chanteuse Laetitia Sadier still running the show, the new album “Sound-Dust” is firmly in the synth-pop-exotica tradition that has made the band an indie-rock fixture.

Stereolab, with Rebecca Gates, the Palace, 1735 N. Vine St., Hollywood, 6:30 p.m. $20. (323) 462-3000.
