2 Employees Treated After Train Derails

Two train workers were treated for minor injuries at a Lancaster hospital after the freight train in which they were riding jumped the tracks Wednesday night three miles south of Mojave.
Four locomotives and 24 cars on the Union Pacific freight train jumped the tracks, causing the lead locomotive to overturn, said Capt. Doug Johnston of the Kern County Fire Department.
