Man Died From Gunshot Wounds, Autopsy Shows

An autopsy revealed Monday that a man found dead in Lake View Terrace died at the scene of multiple bullet wounds, Los Angeles police detectives said.
Stephen John Clawson, 44, of Valley Village was found about 6:15 a.m. Saturday by two men who flagged down passing Los Angeles Police Department officers on the 11800 block of Terra Vista Way near Pierce Street.
Police said they do not know why Clawson was in the area and have no suspects. Clawson’s red 1992 Volkswagen Jetta was found about half a mile from his body.
