What: “Ultimate Jordan”

Price: $26.98

This two-disc DVD set is the perfect gift for the Michael Jordan/Chicago Bull/NBA fan who could use a dose of the real Jordan, not the version playing for the Washington Wizards.

Over 51/2 hours, Jordan’s career from the University of North Carolina to the heights of the NBA is thoroughly covered.

The set, produced by NBA Entertainment and distributed by USA Home Entertainment, has the five previously released Jordan videos--”Come Fly With Me,” “Michael Jordan’s Playground,” “Air Time,” “Above and Beyond,” and “His Airness”--each worth having in itself.

The highlight of the DVD is the special features section, which provides easy access to Jordan’s greatest shots, dunks and moments.

His top three shots: No. 1, the series-winner in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz; No. 2, the game-winner in Game 1 of the ’97 Finals vs. the Jazz; No. 3, the series-winner against Cleveland in the 1989 playoffs.

Several NBA players describe with admiration their favorite Jordan moment, but Cliff Robinson said his lasting memory is of Jordan creating a highlight at his expense.

Robinson was a member of the Portland Trail Blazers when Jordan scored 35 points in the first half of Game 1 of the 1992 Finals.

“People ask me, ‘Why did you let him bust you like that?”’ Robinson said. “What was I supposed to do? I had a hand in the man’s face.”
