Taylor Wood of Santa Margarita, No. 27 in Golfweek magazine’s national rankings, has signed a letter of intent with USC, he said Wednesday.

Wood committed to UCLA last month, but rescinded the commitment when he discovered that USC was still interested.

“I thought USC didn’t want me,” he said. “But USC is where I wanted to go from the beginning. It all worked out in the end.”
