Times’ Food Section Wins National Award

The Los Angeles Times Food section was named one of the best in the country last weekend at the annual conference of the Assn. of Food Journalists held here. The Times won third place, behind the first-place Chicago Tribune and the second-place San Francisco Chronicle. This is the third year in a row that The Times has been named one of the three best sections in the nation.

The Assn. of Food Journalists is the nation’s leading group of newspaper and magazine food writers and editors.
