Man Shot to Death in Westlake

A man was fatally shot in the Westlake area early Saturday, police said.
Police found the unidentified man, believed to be in his 30s, after responding to a call in the 2300 block of West 11th Street near Alvarado Street about 2 a.m., said LAPD Sgt. Jeff Wenninger of the Rampart station.
The victim died at the scene, he said. Police had not determined a motive for the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (213) 207-2051.
