Hull’s Record Round Paces Pepperdine

Katherine Hull shot a school-record 67 on Tuesday to finish with a two-day total of 72-67--139 and Lindsey Wright shot even-par 72-72--144, leading Pepperdine to the Southern California Intercollegiate women’s golf title at the PGA of Southern California Golf Course in Calimesa.

Pepperdine won the seven-team tournament with a 298-293--591. Long Beach State was second at 311-305--616, followed by San Francisco (310-312--622) and UC Irvine (315-308--623).

Hull broke the school record of 68 that she shared with Tamie Durdin, a current LPGA player.

Stella Lee of Irvine was third at 73-73--146, followed by Long Beach’s Heeyoung Cho (75-75--150), San Francisco’s Susannah Laing (74-76--150) and Irvine’s Hye-Yoon Jung (76-75--151).
