Arraignment Set in Case of Baby Left in Minivan
From Times Staff Reports
A Northridge mother will be arraigned Oct. 17 after she allegedly left her 1-year-old son in a heated car in Granada Hills for 30 minutes, authorities said.
Soo Kim, 34, was booked Saturday and released on $50,000 bail after shoppers at a TJ Maxx store reported seeing her crying child locked inside the family’s minivan.
The child was rescued by a bystander and taken to Granada Hills Community Hospital, where he was treated for dehydration.
