Leads Sought in Slaying of Pregnant Woman

Police are seeking a gunman who killed a pregnant woman Friday as she stood outside her home in Wilmington with her husband and 1-year-old son.
Police say Rosa Marie Garcia, 31, had returned from dinner when a man a block away pulled out a gun and fired at a car speeding down East Cruces Street. A bullet hit Garcia, who was three months’ pregnant, in the forehead.
Police are asking anyone with information to call homicide detectives at (310) 548-2835.
