Passenger Dies When Car Hits Wall of Offramp

A 31-year-old man was killed Saturday when the car he was riding in hit an offramp wall.
As the car was getting off the Santa Ana Freeway at Main Street at 7:04 a.m., it hit the wall, a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman said. The man, whose name was not released, was thrown partially out an open window and his head hit a metal pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
