Gunman Kills Santa Ana Man
A 38-year-old Santa Ana man was killed outside his home by an unidentified gunman Saturday night, police said.
After firing several shots, the killer fled on foot. Police said the slaying did not appear to be gang-related, and on Sunday detectives were trying to determine the motive.
Antonio Palacios, 38, was standing outside his home in the 3600 block of Camile Street when the gunman approached him, spoke briefly and, without warning, shot him several times with a handgun, police said.
Palacios was pronounced dead at 8:45 p.m. at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
