Suspected Rebels Kidnap 27 on Fishing Trip

Armed men kidnapped 27 people who were on a weekend fishing trip at a Pacific Ocean beach in a jungle region of northern Colombia, witnesses and police said
Police blamed the National Liberation Army, or ELN, Colombia’s second-largest rebel group.
The tourists were taken from a beach in Ensenada Utria park near the town of Bahia Solano, 250 miles northwest of Bogota, the capital, according to police in Choco state. There was no indication that any foreigners were among the tourists.
