Man Found Dead in Closet Is Identified

Police on Friday identified 35-year-old Kenneth Kitching as the man whose body was found a day earlier tied and stuffed into a bathroom closet in a North Hollywood apartment.
Kitching’s body was found Thursday after his apartment manager detected an odor coming from his second-floor unit in the 12300 block of Sherman Way.
Los Angeles Police Det. Mike Coffey said officers had not identified any suspects. An autopsy would determine the cause of death, he said.
