Hoping for Precedent in Sports Agent Ruling
The judgment against the sports agent who stole his firm’s clients was the right one (“Sports Agent Steinberg’s Firm Awarded $45 Million,” Nov. 16).
This is a bad epidemic in today’s business (real estate, insurance, etc.), when employees branch out and steal clients from employers.
As a business owner in the hair-replacement industry, we have been victims of our stylists (employees) on a number of occasions taking our customers. We have lost almost every case in court.
Hopefully this judgment will set a new precedent.
