‘Taken’ grabs many viewers
“Taken,” the miniseries about UFO abduction presented by Steven Spielberg, set a record by the Sci Fi Channel’s standards, with 6 million people tuning in for the premiere Monday.
The number dropped to 4.8 million on Tuesday but that still eclipsed the previous record of 4.7 million set by Sci Fi’s miniseries “Dune.” By contrast, the network averaged 1.1 million viewers in prime time last week.
