‘Improved’ Downtown Could Use More Parking
Re “Old Town’s Face Lift Has a Flaw,” Dec. 1:
Thanks to the “improvements” in the downtown area, I now restrict my travel through downtown Tustin to my monthly haircut.
If one can find a parking place -- and many have been removed by the “improvements” -- good luck trying to get out of the parking place.
Since traffic is more restricted and confined, there is rarely a break to pull out. One’s only hope is that someone else wants the place.
I have found new merchants in locations where I can drive and park to replace those that I used to frequent in downtown Tustin. I feel sorry for the merchants, but it is no longer worth the hassle to go through town.
