Where to find property tax info
With the Dec. 10 delinquency date looming for the first installment of property taxes, it’s too late to receive a substitute bill by mail. The Los Angeles County Tax Assessor’ office suggests going online to find the installment payment due on your property.
Visit the treasurer-tax collector’s site at ttax.co.la.ca.us/Ttc /ttc/TTCWTLogin.html. Enter your property’s assessor’s identification number and “02 000” for the year and sequence number to obtain the 2002-2003 annual tax amount.
For information about property taxes in other counties, visit: www.oc.ca.gov/treas/, www.co.san-bernardino.ca.us/treasurer/, riverside.ca.ezgov.com/ezproperty/search.jsp, www.ventura.org/taxcollector/secured.htm #BestPay or www.sdtreastax.com/payproperty.html.
