Wounded Driver Crashes Into Restaurant, Dies

A man found dead at the wheel of a sport utility vehicle after it crashed into a restaurant early Friday had been shot, Los Angeles police said.
Marco Chacon, 22, of Panorama City, apparently was shot several times just before 1 a.m. behind a gas station in the 8400 block of Sunland Boulevard. Chacon then drove off, slammed into the nearby restaurant and died, police said.
