Casting: Two Tony winners, Jane Alexander and Len Cariou, will star in Neil Simon’s “Rose and Walsh,” Feb. 5 to March 9 at the Geffen Playhouse in Westwood, playing famous writers in a Long Island beach house. David Esbjornson (“The Goat or Who Is Sylvia?”) will direct.

Canceled: Twentieth Television pulled the plug on “The Rob Nelson Show” on Wednesday, citing low ratings for the first-year syndicated talk show, which airs locally on KTTV-TV Channel 11.
