2 Bodies Found in Trunk of Burned-Out Car
Police are investigating the deaths of two men whose charred bodies were discovered in the trunk of a car set on fire Thursday night in Compton, authorities said.
Firefighters responded to reports of a vehicle fire in the 500 block of East Tucker Street at North McDivitt Avenue just before 9:30 p.m.
After the fire was put out, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies found the bodies in the trunk of a light blue 1990 Ford Tempo parked on the street, said Deputy Rick Varela.
The bodies had not been identified. Investigators were checking fingerprints.
No suspects have been identified, Varela said.
