Bike Rider, 41, Struck, Killed on Bristol Street
A Newport Beach woman was killed Saturday when her bicycle was struck by a car on Bristol Street south of Newport Boulevard in Costa Mesa, police said.
The woman turned in front of a car traveling in the same direction, and the driver was unable to stop, Sgt. Phil Myers said. The accident occurred about 12:10 p.m. The identity of the 41-year-old has not been released.
