57-Month Prison Term for Airline Staff Threats
A Santa Monica man was sentenced to 57 months in federal prison Monday for threatening to harm or kill six Southwest Airlines employees he first met by dialing the airline’s reservation line.

Prosecutors said Hirsch would call reservation clerks and engage them in conversations about astrology, learning enough personal information to enable him to obtain their home numbers from the Internet and other sources. He would then call them repeatedly.
