Fireworks Factory Blast Kills 29; Scores Missing

At least 29 people died and scores are missing after a fireworks factory exploded in China’s eastern province of Jiangxi, state media said today.
About 200 workers were in the factory Sunday when the blast ripped through the warehouse of Panda Export Fireworks Co.
State media had reported nine dead on Sunday, and the China News Service said 20 bodies were pulled from the rubble Monday. About 20 escaped and the rest were unaccounted for, it said.
