Ex-Black Radical’s Murder Trial Begins

The murder trial of the former black-power radical once known as H. Rap Brown began with prospective jurors filling out questionnaires asking their thoughts on topics ranging from religion to the Black Panthers.
Now a Muslim cleric, Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin is charged with the murder of a Fulton County sheriff’s deputy and the wounding of another in March 2000.
