Long Beach Poly Stars Are Headed to USC
USC has received commitments from two of the best linemen in Southern California: offensive tackle Winston Justice and defensive tackle Manuel Wright of Long Beach Poly.
“I’ve been a quiet commitment since September,” said Justice, who was selected The Times’ lineman of the year after helping the Jackrabbits win a third consecutive Southern Section Division I title.
USC has a chance of landing Poly teammates Darnell Bing and Hershel Dennis.
Wright said that Bing, a cornerback, and Dennis, a tailback and The Times’ player of the year, made commitments to USC, but both are taking other recruiting trips.
