Rethinking LAX
Isn’t it about time that LAX built a services mall in the middle of the concourses accessible from all the terminals? With the additional demands for space created by the additional security and the decline of customers for concessions inside of security, a services mall makes perfect sense.
It would also service travelers who stay at the hotels along Century Boulevard and currently don’t have any convenient shopping available. This mall would also be the perfect place for a post office, pharmacy, shoeshine booth, business center and other services. For a real L.A. touch, why not add a small multiplex cinema?
