Safety Foundation to Hold Seminar in Spanish

The California Union of Safety Employees Foundation is holding a seminar Thursday on crime prevention that will be conducted in Spanish.

“We want to help Spanish-speaking Californians from becoming victims of consumer fraud by showing them what to look for and how to react,” said John Miller, president of the foundation. The seminar is titled “Schemes, Scams and Rip-Offs.”

Representatives of the Department of Motor Vehicles, Medical Board of California and Food and Drug Administration will speak.

The free seminar will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Southwest Senior Center, 2201 W. McFadden Ave., Santa Ana.
