Two masked gunmen robbed a 24-hour Ralph’s supermarket in Port Hueneme early Tuesday, taking an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
One of the robbers held a gun to a stock clerk’s chest until a store manager handed over cash from a register, police said.
The robbery occurred about at 5:30 a.m. in the 600 block of West Channel Islands Boulevard.
The men fled in a silver or blue 1980s compact car, possibly a Honda. One robber was wearing a black ski mask and the other had a blue-and-white bandanna covering his face.
Police were investigating whether the robbers might also be responsible for several holdups over the weekend in Oxnard.
