Man Pleads Guilty to Sept. 14 Hate Crime

A Fullerton man accused of waving a baseball bat at a Sikh couple three days after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks pleaded guilty Friday to a hate crime.
Jason Fulkerson, 31, pleaded guilty to a felony count of brandishing a weapon, with a hate-crime enhancement and a misdemeanor civil-rights violation.
He was sentenced to 45 days in jail.
