City Seeks Applicants for 2 Commissions
City officials are seeking residents to apply for several open seats on two commissions.
A vacancy exists on the Santa Paula Recreation Commission, which has five adult and two youth members.
The term for an adult position would expire in October 2004. A youth position, for those 16 to 20, also remains vacant and carries a one-year appointment. The panel meets the fourth Monday of the month.
There also are openings for a member and an alternate to represent Santa Paula on the county Transportation Commission’s Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee/Social Services Advisory Council, which meets nine times a year. Terms for these posts are decided by the Transportation Commission.
Applications are available in the city clerk’s office at City Hall, 970 Ventura St., Santa Paula.
The filing deadline is 5 p.m. April 5. For information, call 933-4208.
