Feasting in Food Halls
Kudos to Irene Woodbury on her piece about London’s department store food halls (“A Veritable Feast in the British Aisles,” Feb. 24). I have traveled extensively to London on business, and even though my company provided me with a generous meal allowance, once I discovered the food halls I was hooked.
The variety and quality of the food as well as the value were unparalleled. Where else could you sample different world cuisines under one roof? London’s department store food halls are the city’s best-kept secret and a wonderful way to stretch your dollar while enjoying a unique dining experience.
