Employee Is Killed in Car Dealership Accident

An accident that killed an employee Monday morning at an Encino car dealership is under investigation by the state Division of Occupational Safety and Health.
The 31-year-old Newhall man, a service writer at the Land Rover Encino dealership in the 15000 block of Ventura Boulevard, was crushed shortly after 8 a.m. when a wheel alignment rack he was helping to move collapsed on him, a Fire Department spokesman said.
His name was not released.
