Woman Trapped After Car Hits Her Apartment
From Times Staff Reports
A Florence woman escaped injury but was trapped for an hour when an automobile crashed into her apartment Monday, the California Highway Patrol reported.
It took a tow truck to free the woman, by pulling the car from the living room in which she had been sleeping at the time of the 2:20 a.m. accident, said Highway Patrol Officer Bruce Gaines. The driver ran away and was still being sought.
