During an ensuing scramble in front of the Colorado net, Orszagh poked the puck past Patrick Roy. Roy, who sat out the last three games because of a sore left hip, had 24 saves.

New York Islanders 3, Dallas 2 -- John Blake scored the tiebreaking goal at 7:43 of the third period at Uniondale, N.Y. The Stars, who lost for the first time in four games, were 5-0-0-1 at Uniondale since a 5-3 loss Feb. 4, 1996.
