Laguna Beach to host chamber music festival

Following Andrea Staier’s harpsichord recital in Laguna Beach on Nov. 7, Dean Corey caught up with the audience to announce -- just barely -- that the Philharmonic Society of Orange County and the Laguna Beach Chamber Music Society will jointly present a chamber music festival in the beach city in the spring of 2003.

Corey, executive director of the Philharmonic Society, wouldn’t share any other details, but he promised that important chamber ensembles from “both coasts” would perform at the festival.
