No Serious Injuries as Bus and Truck Collide

Eighteen Elgin middle school students were shaken up when a gravel truck hit their bus and knocked it into a house, school officials said.
School, hospital and police officials said none of the injuries appeared to be serious.
Police cited the truck driver for disobeying a red light and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Police also cited the driver for equipment violations.
