Stephanie Gandy scored 15 points and Michigan closed the game with a 14-0 run to upset No. 24-ranked UC Santa Barbara, 70-64, Monday night at Ann Arbor, Mich. Lauren Andrews put the Wolverines (2-0) ahead with two free throws with 32 seconds left. Kristen Mann scored 14 points for Santa Barbara (1-1).
No. 3 Louisiana State 88, Florida Atlantic 55 -- Seimone Augustus scored 24 points and missed only two of 12 shots to lead the Tigers (3-0) over the Owls (0-3) at Baton Rouge, La.
No. 15 Louisiana Tech 72, Arkansas State 54 -- Cheryl Ford scored 19 points and took 15 rebounds to lead the Lady Techsters (2-1) over the Indians (1-1) at Jonesboro, Ark.
No. 17 Arkansas 76, Texas Christian 66 -- India Lewis scored 26 points to lead the Razorbacks (2-0) over the Horned Frogs (1-1) at Fayetteville, Ark.
