Weighty Remark
Regarding Howard Rosenberg’s review of CBS’ new show “Still Standing” (“Working-Class Palooka Delivers Crude Zingers in ‘Still Standing,’ ” Sept. 30): I don’t quite understand what actor Mark Addy’s “big belly fronting a slobby body that looks like an unmade bed” has to do with the quality (or lack thereof) of the television show.
What I do understand is why actors are constantly under pressure to be rail-thin and model-perfect. Their reviews depend on it.
