Man’s Arrest Ends Standoff
A San Gabriel man barricaded himself in his home for nearly seven hours Monday after allegedly making what officials called a “terrorist threat” to the principal at Calvin Coolidge Elementary School.
San Gabriel police took the unidentified man into custody just after 8 p.m.
The arrest ended the standoff, which had forced the evacuation of several homes, said San Gabriel Police Department spokeswoman Mitsi Komatsu.
No one was in the house with the man, she said.
