Holiday Closures
Today is Labor Day, set aside to recognize the contributions of working people to the nation. The holiday also marks the traditional end of summer.
Offices: All government offices, courts, banks, post offices, stock and commodity exchanges, libraries and many businesses will be closed.
Transportation: MTA buses and Metro Rail trains will follow Sunday schedules. Metrolink trains will not run.
Trash: Regular Monday trash collection for Los Angeles city residents will be postponed until Tuesday.
