2 Killed, 2 Wounded in Shooting Outside Home
Two men died and two people were injured Thursday in an early morning shooting in front of a Pacoima home, police said.
The four were talking about 2 a.m. outside their house in the 10900 block of Jamie Avenue when they were shot, Los Angeles Police Officer Jason Lee said. The identity of the assailant is not known.
Akida Clay, 25, and Daniel Sykes, 34, died of their injuries. Lonnie Diggs, 25, and Felincia Brown, 37, were treated at a local hospital for bullet wounds. Their injuries are not life-threatening, police said.
Homicide detectives believe the shooting may have been gang-related, Lee said.
