Man Killed During Run Across Freeway

A man trying to run across the San Diego Freeway in West Los Angeles was struck by several cars and killed early Wednesday, authorities said.
The unidentified man was first hit shortly after midnight just north of the eastbound Santa Monica Freeway connector, said CHP Officer Alex Gonzalez. Several other cars then ran over him, Gonzalez said.
