Rev. Murray Goes Home After Surgery

The Rev. Cecil “Chip” Murray of First AME Church was released Wednesday from a hospital where he had undergone treatment for prostate cancer.
Murray, prominent in Los Angeles religious circles, checked in to Kaiser Permanente in West Los Angeles last week, where he was treated and kept under observation. Doctors for the senior pastor at First AME said he could return to work in October.
