Sylmar Man Held in Woman’s Death
A 23-year-old Sylmar man was booked on suspicion of murder Wednesday in the death of a woman outside a Burbank radio station, authorities said.
Cameron Duty, who is being held in lieu of $1-million bail, faces a murder charge for allegedly backing his truck over Anna White, 21, and dragging her under the pickup for more than a block Monday night, the district attorney’s office said.
Arraignment for Duty has been scheduled for Sept. 26 in Pasadena Superior Court.
White, a Burbank resident and student at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, was waiting outside KIIS-FM to see ‘N Sync singer Justin Timberlake, Burbank police said.
