Rod Stewart’s Son Jailed, Fined in Assault Case
The 22-year-old son of Rod Stewart pleaded no contest Thursday to felony assault after attacking a man in December.
Sean Rodrick Stewart was sentenced to 90 days in county jail and placed on probation for five years. He was also ordered to pay nearly $5,600 to the victim and to participate in anger management and drug rehabilitation programs.
Stewart attacked 19-year-old Jason Rogland outside a Malibu restaurant, according to prosecutors. Actor Dean Cain, known for his TV role as Superman, stopped the fight and called 911.
Sean Stewart also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance in a separate case.
