Teen Shot Dead at Party by Apparent Gang Rival

A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed at a party, authorities said Sunday.
The unidentified victim was at a house party with 25 teenagers in the 7500 block of Irondale Avenue shortly before midnight Saturday when an opposing gang member walked up and shot him several times, said Sgt. Rick Webb of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim was taken to West Hills Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival, Webb said.
No arrests have been made, but Webb said the gunman had been seen by witnesses.
